Idbackpacker.com (Indonesia Backpacker) – The idea of visiting Serangan Island comes because a skype chat with my friends in the office some time ago. Turn out the location of Serangan Island is quite close to my office in Sanur. And that conversation makes my adventurous soul arise. If I explore Samalona island which is hundreds miles away from bali, then I should visit Serangan Island too. Furthermore it’s distance just a few kilometers away, not thousands. I found that This island has more appeal than i think, such as fishing spot for whom have fishing hoby, turtle beach with challenging waves for surfers, and water sport for water sports lovers. Not to mention its cultural tours of acculturation Bugis and Balinese culture on the Serangan Island.
Idbackpacker.com (Indonesia Backpacker) – Lembar is one of the main port of Lombok Island which is located in the western part of the island. This port is the main link between the two existing paradise in eastern Indonesia, namely Bali and Lombok. Incidentally, I had opportunity to witness the beautiful morning of Lembar Harbour. Many options of the destinations can be choose in the island, for the example; Dream Beach, Mushroom Beach, Devil Tears, Coconut Beach, Mangrove and many more. If you want to come here, would be nice if you use a slow traveling style, so that all areas can be enjoyed with a more satisfying.

With the destination which is close but still in an interesting place. Fortunately the Untung Jawa Island, I call this alternative beach because Untung Jawa is most nearest beach from my house that can be taken less than 2 hours, and very quite able to treat me when i am so miss to escape.

So we followed him then arrive at a homestay called Exotic Inn. The place is quite comfortable, not too far from the coast so we said yes and got the price Idr 175K / night with facilities one bed double bed, bathroom inside, warm water and of course free WIFI :)
Idbackpacker.com (Indonesia Backpacker) – Nothing is more fun when you come across an island with all the civilizations in it (internet, tv, electricity), but no motorized vehicles at all in it. Machine powered vehicle is absolutely forbidden! Can you imagine how fresh are the air on the island? And How calm the atmosphere is? But we still able to surf the internet, open social media, and do internet work. Well, i am a programmer and blogger, internet is absolutely important for me :)
Idbackpacker.com (Indonesia Backpacker) – Based on data i’ve found from a variety of sources, Samalona Island is part of the city of Makassar, sub-district Ujung Pandang, South Sulawesi. Access to the island is pretty easy, because only a 20-30 minute crossing the sea. Hiring the fishermen’s boat is common way for crossing to Samalona Island. The boats it self are easily found in Kayu Bangkoa pier. But I was crossing to Samalona from unknown dock in front of Fort Rotterdam.
