This island have so many beaches, that I couldn’t visit all it once in one day. I would definitely need many time to explore all of it.
Idbackpacker.com (Indonesia Backpacker) – I’m glad there are no obstacles whatsoever, either the immigration problem, transfer or delay on my first flight to Puerto Princessa. Thanks to cebu :). Whether because of the frequency of flights in the Philippines is not as busy as Soekarno-Hatta, or indeed the Cebu Pacific is always on time. My Cebu Pacific flight with number 5J 637 take off exactly as written on the boarding pass. I’m so happy!
Idbackpacker.com (Indonesia Backpacker) – I found Balangan Beach as a great place for having fun. This is where I first saw a beach with a series of unique and neat coconut trees. It was very rarely, I seen a beach with beautiful coconut tree formation in Bali. Although I don’t know if these coconut trees are growing naturaly or some man-made, which is might be owned by some resort around here. It is clear that composition of white sand beach combined with neat palm trees is somehow make me feels more comfortable and quiet.
Idbackpacker.com (Indonesia Backpacker) – Anging Mammiri,is another name for the city of Makassar. A city that I choose for first time backpacking in South Sulawesi. I got a chance to visit this city because a few months ago I got a ticket promo Garuda Indonesia. Yay! Garuda is really generous this time. When most people think outside of Java was deserted, and there just a wilderness exist. Then you are not completely true!! Try visit and see this Anging Mammiri city, with its international airports Sultan Hassanudin. It is not possible to beat Surabaya or Jakarta in a few more years . Even me already felt Makassar city bustle just after I coming out of the airport. Traffic jam everywhere!. So I asked myself, maybe congestion virus in other big cities in Java such as Jakarta already spread everywhere, including this city.
Idbackpacker.com (Indonesia Backpacker) – Fort Rotterdam itself is considered one of the grandest and charming fort in South Sulawesi, according to a note from a source that I found “A New York Times Journalist, Barbara Crossette once described the fort Rotterdam as the best preserved Dutch fort in Asia”, but is it really true? What’s more when I visited the castle and going around the fort, the conditions are quite “messy” or cluttered. Well, perhaps it is because of the renovation of the fort.
