Rules for Infants on Garuda Indonesia Airplanes

1. Infants under 2 years (24 months) on the flight.
2. Infants under 7 days after birth are not recommended to travel using Garuda Indonesia aircraft. However, premature babies can fly by completing Medical Information (MEDIF) and report the condition to ground staff.
3. Infants must be accompanied by an adult companion who carries the baby.
   The companion must be traveling on the same flight, in the same class, and for the same purpose as the infant.
4. One infant must be accompanied by an adult passenger who takes full responsibility for the infant.
   Infants can use the Baby Basinet facilities provided by Garuda on board (as long as they are still available), but during takeoff, landing and turbulence conditions, the baby must be on the seat.
