Next Stop, Philipines!

“See you on Monday evening, 1 Sept, 10 pm at Soekarno Hatta airport, Terminal 2 D, near A & W restaurant (our meeting point)”

Writen on an email I received the day before my departure to the Philippines. From there I knew that the Cebu Pacific plane that will fly me to Manila, apparently departing from terminal 2D Soekarno-Hatta International Airport. Previously I did not know, where the airline departure terminal(red : Cebu Pasific). Since this is my first time flying with the airline that has been famous for its 1 piso ticket promo.

By the way, did anyone ever get that 1 piso promo ticket from Cebu Pacific already? I believe you are backpackers really love hunting promo ticket right? Promo ticket should help you traveling while you are on tight budget.

I know, Cebu Pacific currently operates 42 Airbus fleet (10 Airbus A319, 28 Airbus A320 and 4 Airbus A330) and 8 ATR 72-500. Where the fleet of aircraft they operate is one of the most modern in the world. For aircraft enthusiasts, I agreed, moreover I really prefer to fly on the Airbus from Boeing. Seriously!

Incidentally my flight to the Philippines with Cebu Pacific is the overnight flight. So I can sleep in my journey on a plane to the Philippines. Err, but maybe there are somebody said that an overnight fly isn’t good, someone might said sleepy and so on. Right? However, if you think about it is actually flying at night it can even make us save some budget. At least I don’t need to stay in the hotel for one night, plus if you got Cebu Pacific promo tickets, that’s more better~~ Hehee!

Direct flights from Jakarta night – Manila available on Tuesday and Saturday morning. So thos who love to travel on weekend ( red : weekend traveler). Could really fly with Cebu Pacific if you want to traveling to the Philippines. And, in total there are two flights a week. But do not get me wrong costume while fliying this airline. Cebu Pacific plane air conditioner really cold! Also wear some jacket if you want to sleep soundly during the flight to the Philippines.

In the Philippines my final destination is Puerto Princessa. Eventually when landing in Manila I had to transfer to the next flight. Of course, I also still with the Cebu Pacific. The transfer process to the next flight was not too complicated, moreover I do not need to carry luggage on check-in. So, after the transfer administration stuff is completed, I can go directly to the gate to board the next flight towards Palawan, Puerto Princessa.

I’m glad there are no obstacles whatsoever, either the immigration problem, transfer or delay on my first flight to Puerto Princessa. Thanks to cebu :). Whether because of the frequency of flights in the Philippines is not as busy as Soekarno-Hatta, or indeed the Cebu Pacific is always on time. My Cebu Pacific flight with number 5J 637 take off exactly as written on the boarding pass. I’m so happy!

By the way, there are interesting thing on my flight to Puerto Princessa. And this is a little different in my flight other than with Cebu Pacific. Typically, on Low Cost Carrier flight they were selling food, drinks and souvenirs for the passenger. Well, on my flight from Manila to Puerto Princessa there is an additional stuff. Cebu Pasific cabin crew doing some sort of fun quiz for passengers. And if any passenger can answer a question correctly, then the passenger will get a souvenir from Cebu Pacific.

Cool, you can get a souvenir just because you fight with Cebu Pasific, but… If the answer is correct ^^.

Interesting isn’t it? Any other budget airlines doing something like this? But I’m not answering the quiz at that time. I did think why the Philippine weather continue showing cloudy sky all the way to Puerto Princessa. I had hoped to be seen the beautifull landscape of Philipines from heights.

Well too bad for me, but maybe there will be a third flight, fourth and so on with Cebu Pacific. Anyone want to go with me?
