#Backpackmoon: Lembongan Gems (day 2)

People said that when we pray, the doors of the road will be opened. There is a movement going on, I call it “conspiracy of nature”. Every chance I have, I am always hope that God will bring me to the beautiful places. Unexpectedly reached with very quickly.

After spending time at Gili Trawangan and enjoyed a brief sail with Bounty Cruises, the next day I and Fahmi to explore Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan on the second day.

From where we stay-Jungut Batu Village, we can found many low budget homestay and most of them also provide a bike rental, so we rented a motorbike to going around. Many options of the destinations can be choose in the island, for the example; Dream Beach, Mushroom Beach, Devil Tears, Coconut Beach, Mangrove and many more. If you want to come here, would be nice if you use a slow traveling style, so that all areas can be enjoyed with a more satisfying.

Even both of us thought that someday we want to stop at this island for about a month. Because in addition this island is so convenient to write and find new inspiration, Nusa Lembongan is also very safety. I was surprised when I found two motorcycles were park in front of our homestay, with conditions of the motorcycle key still attached there. And then we realized that it is a common thing, along the road and in front of the restaurant I saw the same thing. Perhaps because the island is very small, so there is no way for a thief to sell stolen motorcycle.

Our plan in the second day is try to go to Nusa Ceningan Island, I am curious about the bridge that connects this two islands. Fahmi already wrote on his blog but I am still curious before enjoying themselves. In addition, there is one interesting spots that I had seen on television, the spot where visitors can freefall into the sea from high cliffs, this place called Cliff Jump point.

My curiosity was pay after we can across the bridge, the condition of the bridge is still very good, so enjoy the sensation by stopping there for a while. After we get lost because take a wrong direction, finally we can find a Cliff Jump Point. There, the water is very blue, just like spilled ink on the water, very strong blue. I so enjoyed in this point, trust me you never get disappointed with the scenery here.

Ceningan is very small so do not be afraid to lost and go back home. We had found the Secret Point Beach which is supposed resort, but as quiet so we just looked away entrance. Before dark we were soon back to Nusa Lembongan to find a spot called Devil Tears which is not far from the Sunset Point. Devil Tears is something like the Water Blow in Bali showing huge waves crashing into the barrier reef. But in Devil’s Tears the water crash to the reef more harder, even the waves can jump more higher and the sound are getting louder. Maybe that’s because the sound of crashing waves to the reef making this place called by The Devil Tears.

Not far from the Devil Tears, there is a nice place to enjoy the sunset that you must try. It was Pandan Cafe, the Cafe which is also a resort too. It is located near the Dream Beach, a very convenient place because we can clearly see the ocean, see the big waves freely and staring the sun until it down. So why don’t you try a night or two staying in this beautiful island? :)
