Most people visiting Bali for holiday and for partying. While most of them goes to Nusa Lembongan Island for a hidden getaway and beautiful beach in Bali.
Well, I’ve been visiting Nusa lembongan three times. And it still awesome even on my third visit. Yes this Nusa Lembongan is a small island located in the southeast coast of the main island of Bali. And this one is quickly become one of bali’s most popular destination recently, even for local tourist.
Yeah, Nusa Lembongan is a perfect hidden getaway!
I can call this island is a hidden paradise inside paradise. Unlike Bali which is getting more and more crowded, Nusa Lembongan is very calm and quiet. Far from hassle and hectic pace of Kuta, South Bali.
Talking about the hidden paradise, although Nusa Lembongan is a small island, it has many beautifull destination inside. Well, if you dont want to just sit and relax inside the island, probably you can do a beach hunting. I mean by visiting some beach in Nusa Lembongan.

1. Paradise Beach
Do you know why this one named Paradise Beach? Well, from this wonderful beach I can see a beautiful view of Mount Agung in the mainland. Plus, white sand and mangrove trees near it. This beach is located at the end of mangrove beach, near Jungut Batu Village.
2. Mushroom beach
Yes, this beach is the place where I arrive when sailing from Sanur to Nusa Lembongan. You can see a lot of boat here because it is Jungut Batu landing point. You can do many activities here, from swimming, snorkeling, surfing at Nusa Lembongan Mushroom Beach and even just eating in the cafe near this beach.
3. Dream beach
You can dream all day long here! At Dream Beach!
Perhaps this place is one of the best beaches in Nusa Lembongan. I can dreaming all day long here, in a wonderful secluded beach with a pure white sand. Dream beach is located on the south coast of Nusa Lembongan island. Although you should be careful if you want to swim or just entering the water here. The rips can be fierce.
If you a very good and strong swimmer you might try playing in the water, but try avoiding eastern end of the beach. Although strongly I suggest to not swimming in Dream Beach. Enjoying the cliff at the right side of Dream Beach would be better. From here the sunset view would be beautiful.
4. Sandy Bay
Sandy Bay is a beach located near Devil’s tear, just to the north of Dream Beach. Most people know this beach as one of best place to enjoy sunset in Nusa Lembongan. This one is a small but spectacular beach with beautiful white sand and crasching waves.
There is alsi a Beach Club at sandy bay, you can enjoy and relax all day long here. During a low tide, a dramatic cave is exposed in the low limestone cliff at the eastern side of the bay. If you want to take a look closer, approach very carefully.
5. Tamarind Beach
Tamarind Beach is located between Playgrounds surf break and Mushroom Bay. From here, It has beautiful views back to Bali mainland, the view Mount Agung especially. Around here also many bungalows for tourist to stay. Well, you might should stay around here if you want to feel a good experience in Nusa Lembongan.
