Suluban Beach or also known as the Blue Point Beach, is a beautiful beach in Southern part of Bali! The place is easy to reach, and not too crowded, many high cliffs that surround the beach. That’s could be the one of the reasons why this beach so special.

The location of the beach is not far from the temple of Uluwatu, and the wave make this beach is always crowded with surfers. I think the wave is the one which attract many surfers visiting Suluban Beach AKA Blue Point Beach. Even though In the area of Uluwatu, there are many beaches that we can visit. Such as: Balangan, Tegalwangi Beach, Dreamland Beach, and Padang Padang Beach.

Stone wall that almost form a cave can be a convenient place to hide from the sun. *if you don’t want to get sunburn or tan*. Suluban supposedly derived from the word “mesulub” which had passed under the meaning of something. Because Suluban is surounded by many rocks, with a big rocks at the bottom. there is also some huge hollow rock like a tunnel that connects the real world to….. Haph!! Paradise!! To get to the beach we had to pass through tunder the hollow reef.

We decide to visit Suluban Beach late in the afternoon, because if we came little late, it would be difficult for us to get an empty seat at the Blue Point Cafe. Yes! The cafe itself is the most suitable place to spend time before sunset and seing the beach. Trust me, it’s pretty awesome seen the beach from above!

Blue Point Beach is located under a cliff, therefore after arriving at this beach parking lot, you first have to go down the stairs that are quite long down the cliff. Between the beach and parking lot, there will be many cafes or beach clubs, you can enjoy the beach view from above (especially when the sea is high).

Suluban / Blue Point Beach has a big tourist attraction, starting from the uniqueness of the scenery, the cliffs that rise around it that form a kind of tunnel or cave on the beach, the waves are very suitable for surfing (surfing), white sand as well as cool hangout places at the existing cafe or beach club.

Surfing waves make Blue Point Beach very popular with foreign tourists who like to surf. A charming sunset view can also be seen from Blue Point Beach, of course because this beach faces westward, such as Dreamland Beach, Padang Padang Beach or Balangan Beach.

You can also camp on Blue Point Beach, precisely at the cave / tunnel below the last step. Many tourists often camp on Blue Point Beach.

To go to Blue Point Beach, you should not bring children, because of the big waves that often hit the cliffs and there are narrow and rather slippery stairs. Especially when returning to the parking lot, visitors must climb stairs about 200 meters. Is it dangerous enough not to bring children?
