Idbackpacker.com (Indonesia Backpacker) – Two times visiting Selong Belanak beach doesn’t make me bored at all, even i was planning my third one just after this second visit. Seeing the beach just makes me want to go back here more often. Selong belanak beach seem more beautiful after my first visit one year ago. I think this one could be the best destination in Lombok to visit.
Idbackpacker.com (Indonesia Backpacker) – The idea of visiting Serangan Island comes because a skype chat with my friends in the office some time ago. Turn out the location of Serangan Island is quite close to my office in Sanur. And that conversation makes my adventurous soul arise. If I explore Samalona island which is hundreds miles away from bali, then I should visit Serangan Island too. Furthermore it’s distance just a few kilometers away, not thousands. I found that This island has more appeal than i think, such as fishing spot for whom have fishing hoby, turtle beach with challenging waves for surfers, and water sport for water sports lovers. Not to mention its cultural tours of acculturation Bugis and Balinese culture on the Serangan Island.
Idbackpacker.com (Indonesia Backpacker) – Anging Mammiri,is another name for the city of Makassar. A city that I choose for first time backpacking in South Sulawesi. I got a chance to visit this city because a few months ago I got a ticket promo Garuda Indonesia. Yay! Garuda is really generous this time. When most people think outside of Java was deserted, and there just a wilderness exist. Then you are not completely true!! Try visit and see this Anging Mammiri city, with its international airports Sultan Hassanudin. It is not possible to beat Surabaya or Jakarta in a few more years . Even me already felt Makassar city bustle just after I coming out of the airport. Traffic jam everywhere!. So I asked myself, maybe congestion virus in other big cities in Java such as Jakarta already spread everywhere, including this city.
Idbackpacker.com (Indonesia Backpacker) – Fort Rotterdam itself is considered one of the grandest and charming fort in South Sulawesi, according to a note from a source that I found “A New York Times Journalist, Barbara Crossette once described the fort Rotterdam as the best preserved Dutch fort in Asia”, but is it really true? What’s more when I visited the castle and going around the fort, the conditions are quite “messy” or cluttered. Well, perhaps it is because of the renovation of the fort.

I’m not sure most tourist or traveler know this beach, it is located right next to international airport Ngurah Rai runway. Sometimes this beach is so noisy, because of aircraft landing sound. But that makes this beach sunset view is so unique.

Mount Batur is an active volcano on the island of Bali, and has erupted many times. its last eruption is in 2004, and the greatest eruption occurred in 1926 which was stockpiled Batur Village and Ulun Danu temple with it’s lava.

Well, if you dont want to just sit and relax inside the island, probably you can do a beach hunting. I mean by visiting some beach in Nusa Lembongan.

Poppies Lane is also popular destination among backpacker and budget traveler to stay in Bali. Its cheap and clean accommodation located in the stategic location, attracting traveler from around the world. The location of Poppies Lane itself is realy close to Kuta beach, approximately 5 – 10 minute walk by foot.

This port is the main link between the two existing paradise in eastern Indonesia, namely Bali and Lombok. Incidentally, I had opportunity to witness the beautiful morning of Lembar Harbour.
